I’ve been trying to dig into why my users keep getting US settings when a user creates their MY Site. I’ve set all the regional settings I can find to UK and it still keeps creating sites with US settings. The only way to seem to cure this is by changing the regional settings on the users site. Then I came across this post stating it was a a code change required by microsoft.

Unless anyone has any other solutions it’s a manual change for the user on their My Site.
